2019-2020 LVMS PTA Teacher Grant Program Guidelines

The LVMS PTA is pleased to partner with educators to enhance Long Valley students’ educational experience via the PTA Teacher Grant Program. The goal of the program is to help teachers bring their creative and innovative ideas to life in the classroom. Funds will not be awarded for capital improvements, teacher compensation, or textbook purchases. Awarded funds must be used within normal school hours of the current school year.

PLEASE NOTE THESE IMPORTANT CHANGES TO THE GRANT PROGRAM:

  • As of this year grant applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Grant applications will be reviewed and accepted or declined as they are received until the $5,000.00 budget has been depleted. If an application is received after funds have been exhausted it can be re-submitted the following year.
  • All materials required to fulfill a grant can be purchased by the PTA and delivered to the recipient’s desired location within the school. Grant recipients can send a specific list of items required to fill the grant request. The PTA Grant Committee will source and purchase the items on the teacher’s behalf. This saves the teacher the time spent shopping for items. It also alleviates the burden of paying out of pocket and waiting to be reimbursed as the PTA will purchase the items directly.
